At the 2013 Annual Meeting, 2 new Board members were added and new goals related to research, volunteers, fundraising, and outreach to hospitals were approved.

Besides reducing waste at the hospitals, getting cloth diapers onto babies from the beginning, with the tacit approval of the doctors and nurses, is an important step to returning to mainstream use of cloth diapers.
The 2013 Great Cloth Diaper Change (GCDC) achieved a new Guinness World Record for the most babies changed into cloth diapers at one time. The new Guinness World Record is 8,301 babies changed into a 100% reusable cloth diaper, set on April 20, 2013.
